FOR GULAAB JAMUNS
INGREDIENTS:
2 Cups milk powder( i used mudaish) 4 tablespoons of all purpose flour slightly heaped 2 tsp baking powder levelled 2eggs Few drops of whole fat milk Everything should be at room temperature... Oil for frying
FOR SHEERA:
2 to 2.5cups of sugar 4cups of water Elaichi 4 to 5 Kewra water few drops optional
METHOD:
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl then add egg .2 tablespoon of oil and few drops of milk.knead it really soft.
my dough was little bit sticky.so i put oil on my hands and made oval shape gulaab jamuns. it should be crack free and smooth.
Fry them on low heat evenly from all sides. till ur desired colour is obtained..i like medium to dark brown.add in sheera for abt 5 to 8 mins.
it will soak all sheera very quickly and increase in size. then take it out in a open dish or plate.
FOR KHOYA STUFFING:
INSTANT KHOYA:
Half cup milk powder 3 to 4 tablespoons of milk Sugar 1tsp Butter 1 to 2 tablespoon melted
Mix all ingredients on a low flame in a non stick pan.. cook for 6 to 8 mins.
HOW TO STUFF:
Make a shallow hole longitudinally on gulab jamuns with a knife carefully.. take out a piece from centre.. and stuff your instant khoya in it.... Garnish with pitachios..
