INGREDIENTS :
Full Fat milk 2 litres Condensed milk 1tin Bread slices white 4 Thick cream 1 tetra packet small Nido Powder milk half cup Saffron few strands Yellow food colouring pinch Pistachios for garnish
METHOD:
1) In a non stick pan put milk bring it to boil. Simmer it on low flame until milk reduces to half quantity. 2) Remove corners of four bread slices and grind them in fine powder.Add it in the milk. Mix well. 3) Add nido milk powder, safforon strands and yellow food colouring.Add 3 tablespoons of cornflour heaped dissolved in milk or water. Cook on slow flame.. until mixture thickens.. 4) In the end add condensed milk and cream. 5) Garnish with pistachios. 6) Put it in a loaf pan and cover with cling film or aluminium foil. 7) Freeze for 18 to 24 hours. Edited: i added 3 tablespoons of cornflour dissolved in milk at step no 3.
