Masala Chicken

Ingredients:



  1. Chicken 1kg

  2. Onion 1 medium size sliced

  3. Tomatoes 4 medium size sliced

  4. Garlic Ginger 2 Tbsp

  5. Red Chillies powder 1.5 tsp

  6. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp

  7. Coriander powder - 2tsp

  8. Salt

  9. Garam Masala - 1.5 tsp

  10. Ginger Julienne

  11. Green Coriander



Method:


  1. Fry onions till golden

  2. Add tomatoes and fry till tomatoes melt.

  3. Add garlic ginger and fry

  4. Add Chicken and fry and cover and let it cook for 10 to 15 min on slow flame till half tender. No need to add water as Chicken will release water which will be enough. Fry so you get nice smooth onion tomato gravy.

  5. Add Red Chilli powder, Salt, Coriander and Turmeric powder and fry.

  6. Add Yogurt, Garam masala and sliced Green Chillies. The aroma from the Chicken at this time would be awesome!!

  7. Mix, cover and cook for another 10 min

  8. Fry so oil is released

  9. Garnish with lemon juice, julienne ginger and green coriander.

  10. Serve hot with garam roti and enjoy 😉
