Gul Shinwari Mutton Karahi

The most delicious recipe for Mutton karahi, with simple and authentic masalay and flavours.
Remember for good karahi, the key is lots of fry, fry fry... this will release the authentic karahi flavours!!

Ingredients:
Mutton - 1 kg
Oil - 1/2 cup
Garlic ginger - 2 Tbs mixed with 1/2 cup water
Tomatoes - 7 - 8 medium size
Yogurt - 5 - 6 Tbsp
Maslalay:
Salt - As per taste
Corriander powder - 1/2 Tbsp
Karhai Masala - 1/2 Tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1 Tbsp
Red Chillie flakes - 1/2 Tbsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 Tbsp
Method:
- Fry meat in oil 
- Add salt and fry 
- Add garlic ginger water, cover and cook on low flame till meat is tender. Add water as required to tenderise the meat. 
- Add halved tomatoes, add 1/2 cup water and cover for 10 minutes so that tomatoes get softened 
- Remove tomato skin 
- Crush the tomatoes 
- Fry fry fry.. 
- Add all masalay and fry well till oil seperates 
- Add yogurt and fry, fry fry 
- Add slitted green chillies and fry 
- Add green corriander, julienne ginger, lemon juice and fry 
- Your Gul Shimwair Karhai is ready!! 
Serve with garam naans and enjoy!!
