Shinwari Chicken Handi

This recipe is creamy, spicy and chatpati made with boneless chicken and cream & Yogurt, delightful to have with parathay or garam roti.

INGREDIENTS
Chicken - 500gm thigh or breast boneless Oil - 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic - 2Tbsp mixed in 1 cup water
Yogurt - 1cup
Fresh cream - 1/4th cup
Tomato - 1 half cut
Masalay:
Salt - As per taste
Red Chilli powder - 1Tbsp
Tumeric - 1tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 Tbsp
Methi - 1Tbsp
Blackpepper - 1/2Tbsp + 1/2 tsp
For garnish: julienne ginger, green coriander, lemon juice
Method
- Fry Chicken in oil. 
- Add salt and fry. 
- Add garlic ginger water and fry 
- Add 1 tomato, red chilli powder and turmeric. 
- Cover and cook for 5 min 
- Tomato skin should be soft now, you can peel it and remove it. 
- Crush the tomato and fry with chicken. 
- Now add 1 cup yogurt and fry. 
- Add methi, black pepper and cumin powder and mix well. 
- Cover the lid and cook for 5 - 10 min. 
- Now add cream and mix it well for 1 minute. 
- Lastly add some more black pepper and fry. 
- Garnish with julienne ginger, chopped coriander and lemon juice. 
- Serve immediately with garam parathay and roti
