Samosas Chaat

Samosa dough :


1 cup Plain flour

1 teaspoon salt

Sprinkle some sabat jeera

1 tablespoon oil

Mix together knead together with warm water set aside for 10 mins


After ten mins roll make small round balls and roll out like you will roll out roti and cook slightly on each side in a tava

5 seconds each on each side ...

then put in a hot pot to keep warm


Aloo filling :


Boil patatoes

Once boiled chop them in small cubes/ pieces

Add

Chilli powder

Salt

Dhaniya powder

Jeera powder

Garam masala

Fresh fined chopped green chillies

Chopped onions

( your choice to add any other veg like peas or sweetcorn )


As 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan add all

Mixture above just to give it a tadka

Once that is done , get one somasa roti cut in half make a corn shape fill in filling and seal with flour and water paste mixture .


Khatti chaat


Boil imli ( whole packet ) then add

2 teaspoon of chillie

2 teaspoon of sugar

2 teaspoon of salt

2 teaspoon of jeera powder once boiled side aside to cool

Once cooked take out all seeds and separate imli water

once the imli is cooked chilled in fridge pot over ...



Chop up boiled patatoes (boil extra when boiling for somosa filling )

Chopped Onions

Finely chopped green chillies

Chana ( I used boiled tinned Chanas )

Fresh Dhaniya

Green chutney paste or you can make at home with fresh Dhaniya podina lemon zeera powder and lemon salt

Lemon

Mix all these together


Slightly break the samosa and top over the chutputi chaat and imli sauce
