Bombay Aaloo

Recipe Credits - Shayaan Hafeez


Ingredients


5 medium size boiled potatoes. Peeled and cut into medium size cubes


1 tablespoon of oil


1/4 level teaspoon heeng


1 heap teaspoon of whole zeera


1 heaped teaspoon of crushed dhania


1 teaspoon of crushed chilli


1 teaspoon of haldi powder


2 tablespoons of fresh chopped coriander


1/2 teaspoon Kaala namak


Regular salt according to taste


1 -2 tablespoons of lemon 🍋 juice or mango 🥭 powder


Method:


Heat the oil on medium heat


Put the heeng in the oil


Then zeera and crushed dhania


Then add haldi followed by potatoes and crushed chilli both salt and mix well


Add lemon juice or mango powder


Simmer for 2-4 mins


Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with paratha or puri
