While searching for best cake recipes, I found found the easiest Fresh Strawberry Butter Cake recipe, I have recreate the recipe by my own. This might have few steps but trust me, itās very easy and toothsome š
āš¼RECIPE: Prep: 30 minutes Baking: 45 minutes Assembling: 60 - 120 minutes šIngredientsš šSponge: 180g white flour OR all purpose flour 150g unsalted butter (melted) 20ml vegetable oil 100g white granulated sugar 4 large eggs 10 ml vanilla extract 1/4 tsp salt 1tbsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vinegar
šLayering: Macerated strawberries (add sugar in chopped strawberries, leave it for 1 hour or 1 night) Frosting & layering: Butter layer: 250 g butter 10 ml vanilla essence 100 g powder sugar 2-3 tbsp milk šStrawberry custard layer: 2 tbsp Strawberry custard powder 300 ml milk 3 tbsp sugar Strawberry jam layering 1/2 cup Macerated strawberries Cook and mash until sticky consistency
šDecoration: 5-6 strawberries 2 tbsp white chocolate shavings
šMethodš šCAKE SPONGE: Preheat oven to 180 degree. Lightly grease 9 inch round baking mould with cooking oil or with butter and cover it with baking paper, again grease with oil; set aside. Combine eggs, sugar and butter and beat them until creamy or the egg yolks changed colour. Add vanilla essence and mix. In a separate bowl Add baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour then mix it. Now, add in a liquid batter gradually, (do not add at once). Fold it carefully. Add vinegar and mix. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake it for 45 minutes at 180 degree Celsius. Keep the cake on wreck and allow it to cool at room temperature. Now cut the sponge into 2 equal halves and keep aside. šFROSTING & LAYERING: Butter layer: Take a bowl, add butter and beat well until butter turns to white. Add sugar and vanilla essence and beat until creamy. Add milk if needed. Keep it in a refrigerator. Strawberry Custard Layer: Take a pan, add 250 ml milk and boil. In the remaking 50 ml milk mix custard powder and mix. Now pour this into the milk with sugar. Whisk continuously for 5 minutes on heat, then keep aside at room temperature. Strawberry jam layer: Make strawberry jam at home or use ready to use. šASSEMBLING: On a cake stand, put 1st layer then spread butter frosting generously, add chopped strawberries. Cover it with another half of cake sponge. Then pour custard on top. Keep it in refrigerator for 1 hour. Now take out the cake and pour strawberry jam (medium consistency). Again keep it in refrigerator for an hour. Take it out and decorate the cake with fresh strawberries and white chocolate.
