SHAKSHUKA

Ingredients : -

Half a onion finely chopped

- 2 chopped tomatoes - 2 chopped green chillies

- 1 small mini pepper

& half green bell pepper

- 3 eggs - Salt a pinch

- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder

- 1 tablespoon garlic paste or garlic grated

- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

- Cardamom powder a pinch

- Cumin a pinch

- Fresh cilantro chopped - A pinch of Oregano leaves crushed for garnishing. - Dash of black pepper


Method :

Take 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and fry the onions until they get golden brown.

Add garlic paste, tomatoes , green chillies and all the spices mix and cook them for about 6-7 minutes until the tomatoes are soft gradually adding water,

Now make a space between the tomato sauce in the pan & add eggs one by one.

Cover them and let them cook on a low flame until the eggs are done, add a dash of black pepper.

Garnish it with garnishing items I mentioned and drizzle some lemon juice for tangy flavour too xx

You can even add shredded Mozzarella Cheese on top for that amazing cheese pull.
