Back to basics, delicous mutton handi made using simple flavours and slow cooking that brings out the real flavours of mutton!!

Ingredients
Mutton - 1 Kg
Onion - 2 medium
Tomatoes - 4 medium
Garlic Ginger - 2 Tbsp
Yogurt - 1 cup
Oil
Turmeric - 1\2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste
Coriander (Dhania) powder - 1.5 tsp
Cumin (Zeera) powder - 1.5 tsp
Red Chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
Green Chillies - 3 - 4 sliced
Garam Masala - 1\2 tsp
Method:
Put mutton, onion, tomatoes in the Handi (clay pot) or a regular pot.
Put some water and let cook.
Add some turmeric and salt, cover and cook till meat is tender.
Now add Red Chilli, Coriander powder, Cumin powder and fry.
Add oil. Cover the pot and let cook for 10 minutes.
Now add yogurt, mix, cover and cook for another 10 - 15 minutes for all the masalay to cook.
Add green chillies.
At this stage your gravy should be nice and smooth with great smell of all the masalay.
Adjust water level according to how much gravy you desire.
Lastly add garam masala, cover and cook on very low flame for 5 minutes.
Turn off the flame and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Your Mutton Handi is ready, Enjoy!!
