Dalgona Coffee Cake ☕️🍰

While everybody is taking challenge and making Dalgona Coffee, I thought let’s bake a DALGONA CAKE and the reviews are best 😍


📎Ingredients:

100g unsalted butter (melted)

10ml vegetable oil

100g white granulated sugar

4 large eggs

10 ml vanilla extract

50ml Filter coffee

100g white flour OR all purpose

1/4 tsp salt

1tbsp baking powder

1 bar chocolate (Cappuccino flavour)

For layering:

6 tbsp Chocolate spread

1 tbsp butter

10 ml vanilla essence

2-3 tbsp milk

For Frosting: (Dalgona)

8 tbsp coffee powder

10 -12 tbsp sugar


👇METHOD👇


Step 1: Cake sponge

Preheat oven to 180 degree.

Lightly grease 6 inch round baking mould with cooking with butter and cover it with baking paper, again grease with oil; set aside.

Combine eggs, sugar and butter and beat them until creamy and the yolks changed the colour. Add vanilla essence and coffee then mix.

Add baking powder and flour and fold it carefully. Pour had of the batter into the pan then add cubes of chocolate then pour the remaining batter.Bake it for 45 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.

Keep the cake on wreck and allow it to cool at room temperature.

Step 2: layering

Add chocolate spread vanilla essence and milk and beat well. Keep it aside.

📌do not keep it in refrigerator.

Step 3: For Frosting: (Dalgona)

Add coffee and sugar in a bowl then add 2 tbsp spoon of water. Beat the coffee until creamy and golden in colour. Jeep it in refrigerator.

Step 4: Assembling

Now split the cake into two halves.

Layer the the chocolate frosting.

Cover it with another half of cake.

Apply frosting and scrap it well. Keep it in refrigerator for 2 hours then again apply frosting. Make pattern and sprinkle little bit coffee.

Keep it in refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving 👍🏼🤩
