Ingredients: -sela chawal - 1 cup -cheeni - 1 cup -ghee - 1/2 cup - green elachi - 4-5 -loung - 2 -darchini - 1 small pc -asrafiyaan ( red and green) -nuts ( nariyal, khismish, badam, pista) -chotay gulab jamun ( optional) -khoya ( unsweetened)
Method: ⁃ soak the rice for atleast an hour. ⁃ Now boil the rice ( completely), only add zarday ka rang in water. ⁃ When rice are done, strain and keep aside. ⁃ In a wok add ghee, cardamom, loung and cinnamon stick. ⁃ Let it crackle, add sugar and half cup water. ⁃ After a minute add rice, give a nice mix. ⁃ Let it cook, so sugar can melt. ⁃ When it near water is near to dry, keep it on dum. ⁃ When it ready, add ashrafiyan and nut. ⁃ When zarda is warm then add khoya and gulab jamun or add before serving.
