Spicy Beef Hareesa

This is one of my most favourite meal - garam garam Spicy harissa with roti....


Ingredients:


Boneless beef pieces 750 gms

Whole wheat grains (harees) 2 cups

Onions to 2 to 3 medium

Red chillie powder 1 and a half tsp

Qourma masala of any brand 1 and a half tablespoon

Turmeric powder 1teaspoon

Coriander powder 1and a half teaspoon

Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Whole spice powder 1 and a half teaspoon

Oil 2/3rd cup


Method:


First wash whole wheat grains in warm water and soak for over night. Then boil them till tender and grind in food processor .


Preparation of Qourma:


In separate pot add oil ,onions then golden brown onions. Add ginger garlic paste saute it for few minutes.. Add boneless beef pieces .saute it well with g.g paste.


add red chillie powder, turmeric powder,coriander powder, qourma masala, salt and mix well. Then pour water 1 to 2 litres.Let it cook well till meat tenders .


When beef is done then dry all water of qourma..with hand blend beef till it is broken into threads like form..


Mixing:

Then mix grinded wheat and qourma..adjust salt according to your taste and put in on dum..


For Bhagar:


Add ghee in pan then fry some onions till golden brown. Pour fried onins with ghee on top of haleem.


For Serving:


Serve it with green chiliies, ginger,chaat masala, fresh corinder ,lemon and Naan of your choice.
