Simple Chicken-Aloo Shorba Salan 🌶

Who doesn’t like shorbay wala salan, honestly I get cravings if I haven’t had it for few days, love shorbay wala salan with garam taway ki roti - ultimate treat for me 😊
This is how I make it:
INGREDIENTS
1. 1 chicken cut into pieces 2. 2 medium size potatoes cut into 8 - 10 pieces (not too small pieces) 3. 4 tomatoes 4. 3/4 cup yogurt 5. Salt 6. Red chillie powder 7. Turmeric 8. Dhania powder 9. Paprika 10. Some sabut garam masala - cloves, bari chotti cardamon, cinnamon stick 11. Green chillies, green corriander, lemon juice 12. Oil
METHOD 1. Take some oil in a pot and heat it. Now cut tomatoes in half and put in your pot cut side facing down. Slow the flame, cover the pot and leave it for 10 min. 2. Take the lid off and now your tomatoes are ready to take the skin off. With the help of fork pull off the skin. 3. Now mash the tomatoes with spoon, add whole garam masala and garlic ginger. 4. Bhoonafy till oil seperates. 5. Now add chicken and potatoes and keep bhoonafying for 5 - 7 min 6. Now add your yogurt and keep bhonafying till all the water dries and oil seperates. 7. Add all your powdered masalay, add tiny bit of water and bhoonafy the masalas. 8. Now add water for shorba, bring it to boil and lower the flame with closed lid. 9. Cook till chicken and aloo are tender. Adjust your spices and salt if needed and the amount of shorba you require. 10. Garnish with green corriander, green chillies, lemon juice and little bit of garam masala powder. Put on dum for couple of minutes. At this time the aroma of green chillies, corriander, masalay etc.would be mind blowing 😊 11. Serve with garam taway ki roti, enjoy and send me your precious duas ❤️❤️
