PIYAAZI KARHAI GOSHT

INGREDIENTS

  1. Meat 1/2 kg - Boiled and made tender With some salt, garlic ginger and all whole spices

  2. Onions 1/2 kg (5 - 6) sliced and fried and kept aside - Donot use ready made onions

  3. zeera 1 tsp

  4. Crushed red chillies - 1Tbsp

  5. Tomatoes - 5 - 6 blended

  6. Shaan Kardhai Masala - 1 Tbsp

  7. Home made Karhai Masala - 2 Tbsp

  8. green Chillies - 5. 6

  9. salt

  10. oil

  11. green corriander

  12. lemon juice

Karhai Masala Recipe: (from Dia Ansari recipes)


  1. Roasted crushed corriander seeds 1 tbsp

  2. Roasted crushed cumin seeds 1 tbsp

  3. Roasted crushed chilli flakes 1 tbsp

  4. Whole Blackpepper 1 tbsp

  5. Chaat masala 1 tbsp

  6. Black salt 1 tsp

  7. Garam masala powder 1 tsp

  8. Khatai powder 1 tsp

  9. Dry fenugreek leaves 1 tsp


Roast Corriander, Cumin, Blackpepper, and Chillie flakes and grind them.

Mix with rest of the spices and keep aside .


METHOD:


  1. Fry zeera and crushed red chillies.

  2. Add blended tomatoes.

  3. Leave the tomato water to dry and then bhoonafy till oil seperates.

  4. Add prepared meat and bhoonafy.

  5. Add Karhai masala and fry.

  6. Add little water to prevent drying.

  7. Now add fried onions and green chillies, give it a good stir.

  8. Put on dum on low flame. Your onion will now disintegrate and become all mixed up with tomato masala.

  9. Put a tawa under the pateeli and let it dum for 10 min or so.

  10. Add some lemon juice and green corriander

Readyyyy!!! Serve it with naan / roti / paratha, raitaa and salad and enjoy yummilicious piayaazi Karhai gosht 😋❤️


Note - You can make this recipe with Chicken, in this case do not boil the chicken but just steam it a little which should be enough.
