MATTAR PULAO 🍋

INGREDIENTS


  • Onion 1

  • Rice 3 cups

  • Peas - 2 cups

  • Yogurt - 1 cup

  • Oil

  • Garam masalay - cloves, green cardamon, black cardamon, cinnamon stick, zeera, taiz pata

  • Masalay powder - salt, black pepper, dhania powder, garam masala powder

  • Chicken stock cube (optional)


METHOD:


  • Fry onion, add garam masalay

  • Add garlic ginger and fry

  • Add peas and powder masalay and fry

  • Add yogurt and tomatoes

  • Fry and add 4 cups water

  • Bring water to boil, cover and let simmer for 5 minutes

  • Now add rice

  • Let it cook till water has evaporated

  • Cover with lid and lower the flame for dum

  • Matar pulao is ready!!!

  • Garnish with Achari fried chillies and green coriander

  • Enjoy!!
