Recipe by Nadia Naziri

INGREDIENTS
- Onion 1 
- Rice 3 cups 
- Peas - 2 cups 
- Yogurt - 1 cup 
- Oil 
- Garam masalay - cloves, green cardamon, black cardamon, cinnamon stick, zeera, taiz pata 
- Masalay powder - salt, black pepper, dhania powder, garam masala powder 
- Chicken stock cube (optional) 
METHOD:
- Fry onion, add garam masalay 
- Add garlic ginger and fry 
- Add peas and powder masalay and fry 
- Add yogurt and tomatoes 
- Fry and add 4 cups water 
- Bring water to boil, cover and let simmer for 5 minutes 
- Now add rice 
- Let it cook till water has evaporated 
- Cover with lid and lower the flame for dum 
- Matar pulao is ready!!! 
- Garnish with Achari fried chillies and green coriander 
- Enjoy!!
