Ingredients for egg custard
Milk 1 glass
Egg yolk 1
Sugar 1 tbsp ( it is upto you Lotus is extremely sweet so I added 1 tbsp sugar )
Vanilla custard powder 2tbsp
Vanilla essence few drops.
Method
Boil milk add sugar and low the heat
In another bowl beat yolk with hand whisk add custard powder mix it together now gradually and slowly add boiled milk in it and whisk continuously till it becomes smooth. Now pour this mixture to remaining milk add vanilla essence and whisk continuously for 5mins. It will become silky smooth custard. Remove from heat and keep aside.
Step 2 - now beat egg White (1) till fluffy.
Step - 3 beat 1 cup cream.
Step 4- Now add 3-4tbsp of lotus spread in custard mixture and beat it for 5mins. Now fold stiffed egg whites in custard mixture with spatula ( cut and fold Method)
Step 5- layering
In a serving bowl add some crushed lotus biscuits then pour lotus custard mixture then cream .. repeat the steps according to your likeness. Lastly pour some lotus syrup over it . Put in fridge to set the dessert.
