Kung Pao chicken

Chicken marinate:

  1. Boneless chicken 300 grams

  2. Cornflour 2 tbsp

  3. Plain flour 2 tbsp

  4. Salt to taste

  5. Black pepper 1 tsp

  6. Egg 1


Marinate and refrigerate for half hour.

Deep fry until golden brown.


Sauce preps:

  1. Water half cup

  2. Sugar 1 tsp

  3. Vinegar 2 tbsp

  4. Dark soy sauce (suree) 2 tbsp

  5. Cornflour 1 tbsp

  6. Red chilli flakes and powder half tsp


Final Preps:

You'll need:

Oil, garlic, red button chillies and peanuts (toasted)


  1. Heat a Wok, it should be real hot.

  2. Add 3 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp chopped garlic.

  3. 4-6 button chillies

  4. Add your sauce, keep stirring it will get thick in 15 seconds.

  5. Add handful peanuts.

  6. Add your chicken now, give it a toss.

  7. Serve with egg fried/ veg fried/ garlic rice. ❤️
