My most favourite salan with white rice đ
INGREDIENTS:
1. Fish - 800gms
2. Oil - 1 cup
3. Tomatoes - 500 gms
4. Onion - 1 medium
5. garlic ginger paste - 1.5 Tsp
6. Masalay: (according to taste)
- salt
- red chillie powder
- tumeric
- dhania powder
- degi mirch
7. Whole spices:
- rye 1/2 tsp
- kalonji 1/2 tsp
- methi daana 1/4tsp
- curry leaves 1/2 tsp
- whole dried red chillies 3-4
- zeera 1tsp, cloves 3
- whole black pepper 4
- Green illachi 2
- Kaali Illachi 1
- Cinnamon stick small one.
8. Geen corriander, lemon juice and green chillies for garnish
Method:
1. Fry onion in oil till golden. WHile frying add all the whole spices.
2. Add tomatoes and bhoonafy till water evaporates.
3. Add all the Masalay and bhoonafy.
4. Add water according to how much you wish to have the shorba.
5. Cover and cook on low flame for 15-20 min.
6. Now add fish and dried methi, Stir gently and cover to cook for 10 -15 min on medium flame.
7. Adjust the amount of shorba, salt and spice.
8. Add lemon juice, green corriander, green chillies.
Your Fish kaa salaan is now ready to serve. đ
