As I was not in a mood to spend too much time in kitchen today, I just took the shortcut recipe for this dessert and used Betty Crocker Chocolate cake mix.
I used half of the box and baked the cake according to the instructions on the box.
When the cake was ready I made many holes in the cake using a straw, then melted 1 cup of chocolate chips with 1 cup condensed milk and poured all that mixture over the cake.
Then left the cake to cool down in the freezer to soak up all the liquid for an hour.
Then I whipped double cream so that soft peaks were formed, set it on the cake and decorated with whatever came to my mind. This Jhat pat tray bake yummily satisfied our sweet cravings š
Inspiration of this recipe came from food fusion chocolate poke icecream cake, though I did not follow the recipe fully and did not use icecream but will try adding icecream when I make it next time š
You can also add some fruit like pineapple, strawberries or some nuts in the layering which i think would go really nicely with the flavours š
