CHICKEN PULAO

Recipe By Tuba Sabir


A very easy n quick recipe, light food for stomach, best in summer, kids favourite.


ingredients:

chicken 1kg Tomatoes 2 medium Yogurt 1 cup Onion 2 large Cinnamon stick Green cardamom 5 Black cardamom 1 Bay leaf 2 Whole black pepper 15 Cloves 6 Cumin 1 tsp Coriander seed 2 tbsp Fennel seeds 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 2tbsp Oil 3/4cup Green chilli 8

Method:

  1. In a pot add oil then whole spice mix, cumin, and onion fry till it becomes golden.

  2. then remove some golden onion for garnish and add ginger garlic paste in remaining onion. saute for 2 min then add chicken n fry for 5 min then add salt, tomatoes n green chilli n yogurt paste cook till water becomes dry and oil appear.

  3. then add fennel n coriander water (in a separate pan take 1 glass water add coriander n fennel seed in it n simmer for 20 min then strain water) and 3 glass normal water when it becomes boil add rice , when the water becomes dry cover the lid n cook on slow flame for 15 min

Pulao is ready to serve :)
