With authentic flavours here's the recipe for CHICKEN KOYLA KARHAI 🌶🌶😋


It is very rich in flavour with tomatoes, garlic ginger, green chillies, koyla smoke, just really bursting with all kind of flavours.


Depending on how spicy you like, you can add little more black pepper / garam masala /green chillies / crushed chillies to make it even more spicy 🌶


Ingredients

Chicken - 1kg

Tomatoes - 1/2kg

Ginger garlic finely chopped - 2tbsp

Green chillies 8-10

Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp

Fresh black pepper crushed - 1-2tsp

Special karahi masala - 2tbsp

Garam masala powder - 1tsp

Ghee /butter/oil 3/4cup

Julienne ginger as required

Lemon juice - 1tbsp


SPECIAL KARHAI MASALA: 🥘🥘


Cumin seeds - 1tbsp

Coriander seeds - 1tbsp

Qasoori methi - 1tsp

(Dry roast all above)

Red crushed chilli - 1tbsp

Khatai powder - 1tsp

Chaat Masala - 1tbsp

Ajwaeen - 1/4tsp

Grind them all


Method:

- Heat oil add chicken and fry till it changes colour at high temperature.

- Remove chicken from oil keep aside

- Now in same oil add finely chopped ginger garlic fry them


- Now add chopped tomatoes and fry at high flame 🍅🍅


- Fry for ~ 10mins till water almost dries.


- Then add turmeric powder fried chicken salt add 1/4cup water cover and cook at medium flame


- After 15mins increase temperature to high and fry again


- Add black pepper and karahi masala garam masala, Cook well. 🔥🔥


- Now add lemon juice green chillies julienne ginger


- Give coal smoke. Put some butter on top.


-Serve with raita and naan. 🌶🔥🔥🔥
