Chicken Karhai with Gravy

INGREDIENTS:


  1. Chicken - 1kg

  2. Oil - 1/2 Cup

  3. Garlic Ginger minced - 2 Tbsp

  4. Tomatoes - 6 Large

  5. Red Chillie powder - 1.5 Tbsp

  6. Tumeric powder - 1tsp

  7. Yogurt - 1 cup beaten

  8. Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp

  9. Green Chillies lemon jiiuce, green corriander, gingere for garnish

  10. Karhai Masala:

Roasted and Crushed Cumin - 1 Tbsp

Roasted and Crushed Corriander - 1 Tbsp

Fenugreek leaves - 1/2 tsp



METHOD:


  1. Heat half cup oil and add 2 Tbsp garlic ginger.

  2. Add 6 large tomatoes (crushed).

  3. Bhunafy tomatoes well, when oil comes on top ,add 1kg Chicken and salt to taste and fry well.

  4. Cook Chicken for 10 min on medium low, then add 1.5 Tbsp Chilli powder and 1 tsp Turmeric powder.

  5. Cover and cook Chicken for 10 min.

  6. Add in 1 cup beaten Yogurt and mix well.

  7. Add Karhai masala towards last with 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala

  8. Add Fresh green Chillies and rest of the garnish and dum for few minutes

Your Karhai with Gravy is ready!!!
