Chicken DakKochi Skewers with Mediterranean Style Pilaf

For this dish, you'll need:
- 1 lbs chicken breast (cut into bite sized pieces)
- 3 cloves garlic (grated)
-1 small onion (chopped) -1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
-1/4 cup soy sauce
-1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
-1/3 cup chopped cabbage - 1 chopped green chili đ¶ -A pinch of brown sugar or regular sugar( I prefer using brown sugar)
-1/3 cup Lemon Juice đ
-1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-4 tablespoons Olive Oil - Salt a pinch
-2 cups boiled rice đ - 1/2 cup of Pine Nuts & Raisins -Chopped cilantro for garnishing
Method:
Combine the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, sesame oil and brown sugar.
Skewer the chicken on wet skewers and set aside for atleast 10 mins.
In a pan, add oil, place the skewers and cook each side for about 10 minutes.
When the chicken is fully cooked, take out and keep it aside. In the same pan and leftover oil, add grated/chopped garlic, fry for a minute then add cabbage, green chilies and onions. Fry for a minute then add salt and soya sauce and add pine nuts & raisins! Mix it well then add boiled rice. Toss and serve with Chicken DakKochi.
