🌶Chicken / Beef yakhni Pulao🌶

Ingredients Of Yakhni Pulao


1/2 kg beef with bones (preferably bong nd kareli)

1/2 kg rice, washed and soaked basmati

1/2 cup ghee


For yakhni


2 tbsp fennel seeds (sonf) will use 1-1/2tbsp in yakhni nd 1/2tsp as powder in gravy

1-1/2 tbsp coriander seeds

1 medium onion, for yakhni nd 1 cup fried onion on dum

Salt to taste

Whole all spices as required (big and small cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon stick, whole black pepper, cumin seeds)

Green chillies 3-4

Ginger 1 small

1bay leaf teez patta

Star anise 4

6-8cups water


Put all together with meat nd cook for 3hour until meat get tender.


Now take out meat from yakhni nd strain the yakhni. Keep aside


For gravy masala


Yogurt 1cup

Mint leaves 1cup

Ginger garlic paste 2tbsp

Black pepper 1tsp

Salt to taste

Kala zeera black cumin 1/2tsp

Fennel seed powder 1/2tsp

Dried plum 7-8

Green chilli paste 1tbsp


Heat ghee in pot add black cumin nd cooked meat and fry well now add ginger garlic paste green chilli paste nd bhunofy now add yogurt fennel powder black pepper salt plums nd bhunofy.

Add prepared yakhni according to your rice. Bring it to boil

Now add soaked rice in it and mix it and cook it till the rice are 3/4 cooked and water is dried add fried onion nd mint . Now put a lid on it and put it on dum for 10-15 minutes on very low flame.
