Butter Chicken aka Makhni Handi

For Sauce:


  1. 2 cup water

  2. Tomatoes chopped 6

  3. Onion 1 chopped

  4. Cinnamon stick 1

  5. black cardamom 1

  6. Small cardamom 1

  7. Kashmiri laal mirch powder/talhaar mirch powder 1 tbsp

  8. Butter 2 tbsp

In a pan add all these ingredients and cook till the tomatoes are mushy. Grind the mixture and strain to get a silky smooth buttery consistency.


For chicken Marination:

  1. Chicken boneless half kg

  2. Lemon juice 2 tbsp

  3. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp

  4. Salt to taste.

  5. Haldi half tsp

  6. Oil 3 tbsp

  7. 1 cup yogurt

  8. 2 tbsp kashmiri laal Mirch powder


Method:


  1. Marinate the chicken and stir fry.

  2. Now in a pan add the starained tomato puree, 2 tbsp butter some salt and red chilli powder plus flakes.

  3. Cook till it gets thick.

  4. Turn off the flame, add the chicken and 2 tbsp cream.

  5. Mix and serve.

  6. Garnish with green chillies, coriander and cream. ⭐
