Beef Yakhni Pulao

Ingredients for yakhni

Beef 1/2kg

1medium onion

1large tomato

8-10 cloves of garlic

Ginger crushed 2tbsp

Fennel seeds 2tbsp

Coriander seeds 2tbsp

Red button chillies 5-6

Green chilli 6-7

Cumin seeds 1tsp

Star anise 2

Bay leaf 1large

Cinnamon stick 1small

Black pepper corn 4-5

Ingredients for masala

Rice 1/2kg

Yogurt 1cup

Mint leaves 1/2cup

Orange juice 1/2cup

Green chilli paste 1tbsp

Black pepper 1/2tsp

Salt to taste

Julian ginger 1tbsp

Chicken powder 1tsp

Star anise 2

Fennel powder 1/2tsp

Green cardamom 4

Salt to taste

Shah zeera 1/4tsp

Dried plums 6-7

Ghee 1/2cup

Fried onion 1cup.

Kewra water 1/4tsp


Method.

In a pan put all the yakhni ingredients  along with 6cups of water and cook for good 2hours untill beef gets tender.

take out meat from yakhni and safe yakhni for masala.

In another pan heat ghee add green cardamom and shah zeera add meat and fry

In bowl mix yogurt green chilli paste mint leave Julian ginger badyan fennel powder plum black pepper chicken powder.

Now add this mixture into meat and cook for another 10mins now add yakhni and bring it to boil

than add soaked rice cook on high flame to reduce water 

add fried onion kewra water than put it on dum for 10-12mins.
