INGREDIENTS:
- Beef cut in thin strips
- Soy sauce
- Vinegar
- Hot sauce
- Chilli garlic sauce
- 1 small sized onion chopped in medium sized chunks.
- I small sized capsicum chopped in medium sized chunks.
- Green chilli crushed & cut in half
- Garlic & Ginger crushed.
- Red chilli powder
- Dried whole red chilli
- Cumin powder
- Salt ( go easy on salt as we’ll be adding soy sauce it in & it has salt as well )
- Oil
METHOD:
Marinate beef strips in 2 tbsp soy sauce, red chilli powder, cumin powder & salt for atleast two hours. Then cook your meat in a pan with 3 tbsp of oil. It will take some time so just cover it & let it cook. Just keep a check & stir it twice in between. Meanwhile, crush garlic, ginger, green chilli & dried red chilli. Mix it all together nicely. Now, in a wok add 2 tbsp of oil & saute the crushed masala. Do not make it golden & soft. Just saute it a lil bit. Add onion & bell pepper chunks. Add the cooked meat in it & give it a good mix. After that, add soy sauce, vinger, hot sauce, chilli garlic sauce & some salt only if you feel the need. Add green chilli. Mix everything nicely. Cover it in let in simmer on low flame for 3-5 minutes.
It is ready! Enjoy! 💕
POINTERS:
- I do not add ginger, garlic & green chilli paste as in this recipe it tastes better chunky.
- I always use a hamam dasta & crush all these ingredients altogether. This way all their flavors incorporate really well & taste even better but you can always do it however you like or crush everything seperately & then mix it.
- Onions & capsicum must remain crunchy so remember not to over cook it. Saute it for a minute or so & you are good to go!
- I did not provide the exact measurements of spices because the measurement always varies. Add everything according to your quantity of meat & your taste.
